The diverse O-METALL accessories range also includes light and ventilation skylights, whose task is to provide industrial halls and agricultural buildings with natural daylight and to enable optimum ventilation. They consist of transparent elements that are mounted on a frame construction in the ridge line of the roof and promote natural light incidence. Due to their open construction, they also have the useful side effect of natural ventilation. This allows an exchange of air in the roof space, which favours the removal of moisture and heat.

For roofs with a multi-layered, insulated roof structure, O-METALL also offers you a closed and insulated light ridge. This light ridge consists of a highly UV-resistant, 5-layer polycarbonate multiwall sheet with a high U-value. With this product, even insulated buildings can be optimally supplied with daylight without having to accept a loss of energy efficiency.

Both products have their advantages and contribute to energy savings by reducing the need for artificial lighting while supporting the desired indoor climate.
