COATING VARIETY AT O-METALL

In addition to the extensive product variety in the area of trapezoidal sheets and sandwich elements, O-METALL offers you a large selection of coating systems. These serve to protect the O-METALL profiled sheets and sandwich panels against corrosion and ensure their longevity. In addition, they enable a versatile colour design as well as the surface finishing of facades with almost unlimited architectural design concepts.

The majority of our products are made of fully galvanised sheet steel primed with an anti-corrosion lacquer, which is then given a colour coating. The type and layer thickness of the colour coating depends on the requirements of the end product. For example, there are special coatings for different requirements and factors such as the environment (e.g. buildings near the coast or offshore), use of the building (e.g. agricultural buildings) as well as appearance and design. At the same time, we also offer a standard coating with an excellent price/performance ratio. This standard coating is an extremely durable and yet cost-effective polyester colour coating in all common RAL colours. Other coatings are based on polyurethane or polyvinyl resin, for example, with layer thicknesses of up to 200µm.

In addition, many of our products are also available in aluminium, copper or plastic. Of course, most of our profiled sheets can be supplied with an anti-condensation coating (anti-condensation fleece) on the inside.

O-METALL UPDATES ITS WALL VENTILATION PROGRAMME

We are pleased to inform you that we have a new, additional wall ventilation profile (25.267,5.4-L) in our programme. Our previous wall ventilation profile 30.207.5-L will be replaced by a 35.207.5-L in the course of our product harmonisation. The technically and visually appealing ventilation profiles can of course also be produced without ventilation openings as standard wall trapezoidal profiles. With the currently high capacity utilization of steel mills and the enormously high material throughput, many remaining stocks and special items arise. O-METALL DELIVERS ROOF DECKING PROFILES 200 BY OVERLENGTH TRANSPORT

A total of 10 loads of the 200.375.5-N roof decking profiles were delivered directly to the construction site.

Whenever building projects place high demands on roof loads, purlin spacing or other high static loads, roof decking profiles from O-METALL are exactly the right product.

Our roof decking profiles are self-supporting up to 10m span and all of them are also available in excess length. They have high-quality corrosion protection systems, are fully galvanised and have a polyester DU/RSL coating as standard. In addition to other coating systems, they are also available with anti-condensation fleece or, in some cases, with acoustic perforation. This results in many possible applications.

O-METALL TINY FREQUENCE FOR THE RENOVATION OF A CONGRESS CENTRE

In the French coastal town of Royan, the congress centre dating from the 1950s is being renovated. The building was erected in 1957 under the direction of architect Claude Ferret and is characteristic of the architecture of the time. Today, it is one of the most important buildings of its time and is listed as a historical monument.

The conversion and renovation are intended not only to make the building more modern, but also to reflect the original style of the interior and exterior architecture. The responsible engineering office Ferret, under the direction of the son of Claude Ferret, the architect at the time, relied on the O-METALL Design Tiny Frequence in aluminium for parts of the interior architecture. It combines a classic form with a modern and noble look and thus supports the original form language of the congress centre and lets it shine in fresh splendour. The perfect solution as a design element or classic wall cladding. We are looking forward to the planned completion of the building this summer.
