DRIP-SAVE & DURABLE
O-METALL® Aqua-Therm® anti-condensation fleece reduces the risk of dripping condensation caused by temperature changes. The fleece is hot bonded to the back of the coated steel sheet. It is weather-resistant and resistant to fungal and bacterial growth.
The fleece should be deactivated at all projections as well as at end laps (extension of the sheet by overlapping) by lacquering or flaming. Otherwise there is a risk that moisture is absorbed and drawn from outside into the building. For production reasons for some profiles, it is possible that the fleece is cut back on one or even on two sides. Please contact our sales staff. We recommend a thermal barrier strip in case purlins are lapped.
The condensation stop is not suitable for use in damp locations as the fleece would constantly be humid without being ventilated or dried up. It has to be avoided that fleece is humid when sheets are mounted.
